For the next World’s Best Morning, we have the pleasure of welcoming the good people from Edument AB to Media Evolution City. They are going to share their expertise on Augmented Reality and Machine Learning, two topics that many people in our community seem eager to learn more about.
As you well know, the key to the future lies within innovation, research and development. However, this normally happens behind closed doors. Lately, though, a lot of people and companies have started innovating more overtly as a result of the fast-growing and ever-demanding market.
During this morning, CEO Acke Salem will talk about Edument’s internal innovation department and explain why they have chosen invest so much time in it since its inception in 2010. He will also tell us about how Edument help entrepreneurs realize their business ideas through their so called “Techhub”.
After this, we will focus on Augmented Reality – one of the most talked about technologies in recent years and the backbone of apps such as Pokémon Go and Google Translate Live View. Although this type of engineering is also used in self-driving cars, you need a much bigger data set for it to be really reliable. This is where Machine Learning comes in.
In combining Augmented Reality and Machine Learning, we get a glimpse of how beneficial the interaction between man and machine can be at its best. To give you a more tangible idea of all this, Erik Man, Senior Architect, will use a Rubik’s cube to illustrate how AR and ML can be used to solve complex problems.
