World’s Best Morning: “How zero waste can end system overload”
2019-10-18 @ 08:00 - 09:30
We love Fridays. And breakfast. And our community. Combine the three of them and you get the “World’s Best Morning”.
This World’s Best Morning is hosted by our friends from the project CirKlus run by Packbridge.
>>How to utilize resources as smart as possible – how zero waste can end system overload <<
So, what’s the problem? The problem is, of course, our linear approach. Take, make, dispose – it’s a classic. And the end-product, the waste, is what reminds us of a system that is out of order. Globally, we humans generate 2 billion tonnes of solid waste annually and without urgent action – this amount will increase by 70% on current levels by 2050. And there is no way we can deal with it.
Take the word waste and then add ZERO to it. Waste and zero waste are opposites, it puts everything on its head! You may have heard of zero waste before, or circularity or circular economy. And it’s all about how we utilize our resources as smart as possible. It’s the key for sustainable development – which is the key for business to stay in the game.
Join this rapid interactive session on how the concept of zero waste can put an end on system overload, and you’ll come out as a change agent with your own hot item to-do list.
